Ovidio Peñalver, MD
Born in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Peñalver has been practicing pediatrics in the Puyallup Valley for over 25 years. His five children are now grown, but his grandchildren may often be seen visiting him and playing in his office. Dr. Peñalver lives with his wife in Puyallup. He is an avid gardener and an active member of his local political and faith community. |

Michelle Ost, MD
Dr. Ost grew up in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Biochemistry. She went on to obtain a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency at Georgetown University Hospital. She has been an active member of the medical community in Puyallup for over 14 years. She and her husband have two children, two dogs, three rabbits, and a turtle. She spends her free time biking, gardening and, of course, chauffeuring! |

Jennifer Sonney, ARNP
Jennifer has served as a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2006, after having obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Washington. Her strong interest in pediatric health compelled her to work for five years at the Children's Hospital while attending school. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care, but shares a special interest in pulmonary and adolescent care. Her favorite part of working with the pediatric community is health education and literacy promotion. Jennifer grew up in Issaquah and now resides in Maple Valley with her husband and two dogs. In her free time she also enjoys skiing, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. |

Sylvia Morales Bronner, MD
The Ida Karlin Healing Center for Youth welcomes pediatrician Sylvia Morales Bronner, MD. Dr. Morales Bronner is an experienced, fully qualified bilingual medical professional. In 2002, Dr. Morales Bronner was awarded the title of Medical Surgeon from the National University of Colombia. In 2004, she completed her clinical clerkship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami's medical campus in Miami, Florida. She joined Miami Children's Hospital in 2005, as a Resident in Categorical Pediatrics, where she was awarded the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. |

Julie Aldrich, ARNP
Julie is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and graduate of Seattle University’s Masters in Nursing Program. Her professional training has prepared her to care for and collaborate with families throughout the lifespan. This is apparent in her ability to develop trusting relationships with children and parents alike. She finds great satisfaction in supporting the growth and development of her young patients while working together with parents to promote lifelong healthy behaviors. During the summer of 2010, Julie traveled to Peru as a volunteer nurse for a mobile healthcare clinic. This experience confirmed her aspiration to work in underserved communities to improve access to care. Outside of work, Julie spends her time cooking, playing tennis, cross-country skiing, and learning Spanish. |
